The Mission of the Assistance Dog Club of Puget Sound (ADCPS) is to provide a safe, supportive environment for persons with disabilities partnered with assistance dogs and to provide educational opportunities for the local business community and the general public, including persons dedicated to the raising and training of assistance dogs.
The Assistance Dog Club of Puget Sound announces our support of the 2016 International Assistance Dog Week on August 7-13, 2016. Click on the image below and you will find a wealth of information about service dogs.
Legal Requirements for Service Dogs
Questions and Answers regarding service dogs were released by the DOJ in 2010. Please make a copy for reference and share it with your friends, local businesses that you frequent and your employer. The more individuals that know and understand the laws governing the access of service dogs the most successful life that a person with a disability can enjoy.
